Shadowkey, a suprising Morrowind-alike for the N-Gage

I started playing The Elder Scrolls Travels: Shadowkey for the N-Gage. This is one of that "bucket list" games. Not really a good ones but those that trigger curiosity to the point I need to experience it myself. Original N-gage with side talking Upgraded N-Gage QD   N-Gage games got pirated into oblivion back in the day and first time I got to play it (as I never had  N-Gage ) was on Siemens SX1 (phone that run N-Gage games with better compatibility that Nokia phones and smoother because of CPU that could be overclocked. The original techbro, that sold you a fake dream

  From Steve Wozniak's amazing creation to a perfect brain rot machine. Preface: this entry doesn't try to suggest there's a "better" or "worse", it aims to illustrate corrosive marketing tactics that eroded our basic daily technology and cult-like, lifestyle defining following for what is in fact a device manufacturer. I'm a big proponent of using all technology that is accessible for you and fulfills it's purpose. All devices and software are only a means to an end - a tool. Never forget that you, the user of this tool, are the most important part. Before "think different" Apple we know today, there were faceless computer corporations like IBM or Compaq with their gray, ubiquitous boxes with no characteristics. Everything was mainly focused on utilitarian aspect as computers and personal devices were mainly business oriented tools and not a lifestyle accessory. IT industry best known early "genius" is certainly Steve Jobs....

Lie politics and living in post-truth reality

  Considering recent elections in US I decided to write a piece about this, as in Poland we also lived through a rise of post-truth politics and hopefully we will see soon it's final collapse. This is based on my own observations and experiences and hopefully you'll find a glimmer of hope in this writing, because it most probably get worse before it will get better. I will relate this mostly to Polish situation as I don't want to force narration on US state of things. Also as many EU countries face the same dangers these days more people will be able to relate and compare. I'm simplifying stuff here for brevity sake, and keep in mind that there are no "good guys" in politics. There are bad guys that make some policies work barely, just so they get re-elected and there are horrible people that will lie to you about why they couldn't do what they promised and how they will make future even better.
